Dental practice product concept with an interactive dashboard prototype.

DentOS explores how appointments, patients, inventory and finances can live in one coherent interface for dental practices. The project combines an interactive product demo with architecture work for a future clinical platform.
Scheduling, patient records, supplies and financial figures need different views, but should feel like one operation. The design challenge was presenting dense information without losing orientation or ease of use.
The prototype organizes navigation around familiar workflows: overview, patients, appointments, inventory, finances and settings. Each view prioritizes the next action and uses consistent patterns for search, status, tables and controls.

A light canvas, blue accents and generous cards separate data from actions. The calendar and patient statuses use color sparingly for quick reading, while the sidebar keeps context visible.

The prototype follows everyday practice work through views populated with sample data.

The interface demo is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, using sample data. In a separate repository, platform foundations were built with PostgreSQL, organization isolation, authorization, auditing and asynchronous processing. Those foundations do not yet make the demo an operational clinical product.
